Give your front door something to say.

We make the front entry ready for the season with containers, greenery, and styling, so it feels cared for instead of forgotten.

You see the porch when you leave, when you come back, and when you pass through with your hands full. A cared-for entry makes those small moments feel better.

The season arrives at your door

Spring color, summer planting, fall texture, and winter greenery show up when they should, without turning into another thing on your list.

A different arrangement for every season

Each season has a distinct palette, mood, and set of materials. We design arrangements that feel intentional and appropriate. Never generic or holiday-store.

Spring
Fresh, cool-season color from April through June
Front porch with layered spring container flowers and a polished entry
What we use
  • Cool-season bloomers: pansies, snapdragons, violas, bacopa
  • Trailing foliage: creeping Jenny, sweet alyssum, lobelia
  • Upright thrillers: ornamental grasses, dusty miller, salvia
  • Potted evergreen anchors for structure
  • Seasonal herbs in a dedicated container if desired
Spring installs go in as soon as the last frost risk has passed. We select cool-season varieties that perform at their best in May and June before summer heat arrives.
Summer
Heat-tolerant, full-season color from June through September
Front porch with vibrant summer container plantings in full bloom
What we use
  • Heat-tolerant bloomers: calibrachoa, petunias, zinnias, lantana
  • Trailing sweet potato vine, portulaca, and creeping Jenny
  • Tropicals for bold texture: coleus, caladium, elephant ear
  • Upright thrillers: canna lily, mandevilla, tall ornamental grasses
  • Drought-tolerant varieties selected for peak performance in July and August
Summer plants are chosen to thrive in Minnesota heat and humidity. Containers stay vibrant from planting day through the first cool nights of September without needing replacement mid-season.
Fall & Harvest
Warm, layered, and unmistakably autumn from September through November
Front porch with curated pumpkins, mums, and layered fall harvest styling
What we use
  • Mums in warm tones: burgundy, rust, gold, and deep orange
  • Curated pumpkins in mixed sizes: smooth, warty, white, and traditional orange
  • Decorative gourds and mini pumpkins for layering and texture
  • Dried corn, bittersweet, and natural harvest stems
  • Ornamental kale and cabbage for color that holds through frost
  • Hay bales or crates for elevated staging when appropriate
Fall arrangements are designed to look intentional, not random. Pumpkin selections are curated for variety, size progression, and color harmony. We stage pieces to create depth and visual interest rather than just placing items in a line along the steps.
Winter Greenery
Fresh, aromatic, and architectural from Thanksgiving through January
Front porch with fresh winter greenery containers and natural holiday styling
What we use
  • Fresh-cut mixed evergreen boughs: white pine, cedar, blue spruce, and noble fir
  • Natural berry branches: red twig dogwood, winterberry, and rosehips
  • Pinecones in varied sizes, wired or clustered into arrangements
  • Birch branches for structure and winter interest
  • Weatherproof ribbon in classic or refined colorways
  • Fresh wreaths for the door and garland for railings or columns
Fresh greenery stays vibrant through Minnesota winters and smells exceptional. We avoid artificial materials that cheapen the look. Arrangements are designed to last through the holiday season and can be composted or used as winter mulch after the holidays are over.

Design, sourcing, and installation. All done for you.

You don't need to shop, haul, or arrange anything. We handle every step from selection through installation.

The Design Philosophy

Seasonal, not generic

Most seasonal porch displays fail because they look like they came from a big box store: identical orange pumpkins, identical mums in a row, identical red bows on garland. They are recognizable, which means they are forgettable.

We design arrangements with the same intentionality we bring to a landscape installation. Material choices, color relationships, scale, and layering are all considered. The result is a porch that looks like it was designed, not assembled from whatever was available on a Saturday morning.

We source from local growers when possible and prioritize natural materials over artificial ones. Your porch should smell like November or December, not like a storage unit.

Choose your package

Do you have your own planters?

Have questions? We've got the answers.

The useful questions are simple: what happens at your front door, what we handle, and how it fits with the care already happening across your property.

Where does Porch fit with Lawn + Garden?

Porch is the seasonal front-entry layer for homes we're already caring for. Lawn + Garden keeps your yard and beds in hand. Porch carries that same attention to your front door.

What does Porch change about coming home?

Your front door stops feeling like the last part nobody got to. We bring the color, greenery, containers, and styling that make your door feel ready for each season.

Do I need to buy new containers?

Not always. If you have containers you like, we can work with them. If your porch needs better scale or a cleaner look, we can source containers that fit your home and include them in the scope.

Is Porch for my whole property?

No. Porch is focused on your front entry. Lawn + Garden covers your lawn, beds, and planting areas across the outdoor property. Porch is the seasonal layer that makes your front door feel ready.

When does each season get installed?

We time each install around the weather, materials, and when your porch will look its best. Your front door feels ready when the season changes, without a last minute run for whatever is left.

Love what you see when you get home.

We keep your lawn, garden beds, and porch looking beautiful all season so your whole property feels more like the home you want it to be.
